Standard functions of an auditor. Act as primary liaison between clients and employer to ensure audits are conducted professionally, in accordance to specifications and expectations in a profitable manner. Review preliminary financial statements provided by clients in order to prepare audited financial statements and provide an opinion. Inspect principle accounting data as necessary to insure and verify data in audited financial statements is fairly stated. Prepare audited financial reports in conformity with GAAP and industry standards. Make recommendations for purposes of improving client's internal controls and in conformance with operating policies and procedures. Perform external audits of internal controls, business process reviews, risk assessments, and compliance with auditing standards including ISA (International Standards on Auditing), Sarbanes Oxley Act, and PCAOB (audit standards for public companies).
Requires a Master's Degree in Accounting and 1 year of experience.
